If you wish to be a subcontractor with G.D. Cornish Trucking Ltd. we require the following things:
1. Current Drivers License and abstract
2. H2S Alive
3. PST or CSTS
4. TDG
5. WHMIS
6. Level 1 First Aid with Transportation Endorsement or equivalent
7. Current drug test (no older than one month)
8. Hard Hat
9. Steel toed boots
10. High Vis Outerwear (striped coveralls, safety vest etc)
11. Gloves
12. Safety Glasses with side shields
13. Radio with applicable channels (we can supply a list)
14. WCB Clearance Letter
15. Copy of truck insurance and inspection
16. Level 1 First Aid Kit in truck
17. MSDS Books on products packed in truck (we can supply for a $25 fee)
18. Spill kit in truck
19. Shovel in truck
20. Triangle Kit
21. Camera
22. Tow Rope with Clevis on the end
23. Positive air shutdown
24. Certified 10lb Fire Extinguisher
25. Fish Bearing Screen if applicable
The office will supply a checklist for you to complete and return with the documents that we require before completing an orientation at our office. Orientation will not commence until copies of ALL tickets required by the driver have been received.
